I am Ziyan, just about 25 years of age, am an Computer Engineering student of University of Peradeniya. Been the only child in the family and been looked after by a single parent (my mum) and her sister Kitty (down-syndrome) I was fortunate to experience the love from two mothers. My aunts and uncles are also great and I felt like to be one of the luckiest dudes arround.

From my early days, I've loved tech gadgets and those were the friends arround me. I always wanted to be a pilot and played with planes all the time. As I grew up I became a Cricket addict. This was arround 1996 when Sri Lanka won the world cup. Then in 2000, after a long wait, I bought my first computer from aunty Kittys' pension, which I beleive is the turning point in my life.

Then I became a game addict for a while, there after learned VB by my self. I was able to do some extraordinary stuff with VB where I designed an Windows 8 like UI concept (arround 2001) as VB UI were disapointing, ofcourse it didn't work as I expected as my understanding about pipes, threads and processes was faint.

Time has moved and so much has happened. I passed AL in my 3rd attempt, choose Peradeniya over Moratuwa and became an Engineering student. But I still wonder, 'what am I?'
